I was so scared to be overnight in the hospital. Nurse Freeman was such a comfort to me that I was not only able to sleep there but able to thrive so that I could get better. Every time that she came into the room I immediately felt so safe. There were many nurses involved in my care but she stands out so much because she always smiles and not the fake kind but so real it's almost like she's not always aware she is doing it. She does everything so professionally yet with so much true empathy and compassion to make you personally feel safe and well cared for. I looked forward to each and every encounter. She has some back discomfort of her own which I asked her about but she plays it off and continues to do everything. She makes you feel like you are the only thing in the world when she is with you.
