I came to Eskenazi after being in a motor vehicle accident with a semi. My friend and coworker died. My legs were both mangled with many fractures. After several surgeries, lots of physical as well as emotional pain, I was becoming very depressed. Sandra went above and beyond. After the second or third day of this tragedy/nightmare, she put aside some time to take me to the rooftop garden. Feeling the sunshine and fresh air were very uplifting. Sandra Lentz deserves this DAISY Award.
