Sandra Murphy, RN BSN

Sandy is a skilled and amazing nurse. She knows exactly what she is doing; self-assured and confident. She is a nurse who will go to bat for her patients in a respectful way but to make sure they are taken care of. I have reiterated several times that my stay in the hospital has been extremely painful and downright brutal sometimes. Sandy is able to recognize that I am suffering. She always frequently checked up on me and made sure that I was okay even though I was without my medications for hours at a time. She made sure that as soon as somebody was done with me she would come in and check on me and give me my medicine. She even stayed towards the end of her shift to make sure I was taken care of before she left. People like that do not exist anymore. Her kindness, compassion, and willingness to place her patients first is a beautiful thing. Sandy is an awesome nurse and I am very grateful that she was part of my team of nurses. All my nurses are amazing here but Sandy really stands out and needs to be recognized for the wonderful care she provides to her patients and the amazing nurse she is!
