Nuestro bebé fue muy prematuro, pesando 845 gramos al nacer. ¡Duramos 98 días internados, los más difíciles de nuestra vida! Un bebé prematuro tiene demasiadas complicaciones de salud; sin embargo, este camino hubiera sido aún más difícil si no hubiéramos contado con el apoyo de todo el personal de UCIN.

Especialmente queremos nominar a Sandrita, quien además de cuidar con amor y dedicación a Gustavito, fue más allá, siempre recibiéndonos con una sonrisa, celebrando cada mes de G, ¡decorando su incubadora y llenando de luz y color ese espacio que nos vio pasar por momentos tan difíciles!

¡Sin duda te llevamos en el corazón, Sandrita! ¡Te recordamos con mucho cariño!

Our baby was very premature, weighing 845 grams at birth. We spent 98 days hospitalized—the most difficult days of our lives. A premature baby has many health complications; however, this journey would have been even harder if we hadn’t had the support of the entire NICU staff.

We especially want to nominate Sandrita, who, in addition to caring for little G with love and dedication, went above and beyond—always welcoming us with a smile, celebrating each of G’s monthly milestones, decorating his incubator, and filling that space with light and color, the same place where we went through such difficult moments.
