I do not have a single story to tell. Sandra's excellence as a nurse and a person was constant throughout my stay. She is a caring, compassionate nurse who puts the patient first. She knew I wanted to go home. At every stage of my recovery, she encouraged my independence- rather than just doing for me, she showed me how to do things for myself. She showed me how to bathe and dress myself. When I graduated to solid foods, she said that I should be taking my medications in pill form and arranged for the doctors to change the order. Sandra taught me what questions to ask and told me who to ask them to. She treated each level I achieved as a springboard to the next. I could not have had a better nurse.
