Sande is absolutely dedicated to making both 3 East and 3 South the most efficient for her staff, which allows more time for us to spend with our residents. Sande thinks of ways to make improvements and asks us for our input. She created barcodes for all her staff and residents to streamline our blood glucose monitoring. Sande recently organized BINGO for all of the residents on her units, which was needed during this time of distancing. When we have concerns regarding a resident, she is the first to follow up with that resident and their family. We often have employees from other units ask us how we are able to make such great changes and we answer..."because of Sande!" We actually celebrated because she is a great leader and we had zero deficiencies on our units. Sande has ordered food and snacks to show her appreciation and every employee on the units wants her to know that we are so lucky to have her. She is the best thing to happen to 3 East and 3 South. We want to thank Sande from the bottom of our hearts.
