My son has Tourette's Syndrome, which causes him to tic, verbally. This is the second time here for eye surgery and his anxiety makes his tics ten times worse. Sandra made an impact the first time here, and not sure if it was planned, but once again she was there as his nurse. He went from feeling extremely stressed/tics to excitement from seeing her. She was so comfortable around him even through his tics, something hard to do since they can be rude and racist. I can go on and on of how her presence made the experience so much less stressful!
