I had a weekend to work in the OPD. Sandra heard there was going to be more than a few cases. She unselfishly stated "I'll come in to help you". We ended up having to do blocks with anesthesia which I had never done and she taught me how to do them. She came in at 5:30 am on Saturday morning to help me. She never hesitated to say she would come in, she is an excellent nurse, valued co-worker an excellent team player. She exhibits extraordinary skills and a wealth of information. She goes above and beyond her daily duties. She is an excellent teacher and she made me feel very confident in my new skills. I wanted her to be recognized for the valued employee, co-worker and friend that she is. She builds you up.
