Sandra does amazing work! She can frequently be found helping out not only those in radiology but also other areas such as Same Day Surgery, Cath Lab, and ICU. Her compassion, knowledge, experience and calm consistent care has made this a safer and more welcoming hospital for patients and staff. She is a great communicator - she doesn't just get on the phone when a patient needs to come to the Imaging Department, Sandra will physically go to where the patient is and speaks to nurse and patient and family so that misunderstandings can be avoided. Many times, Sandra has been the one to discover a contra-indication for an exam, thus saving time and perhaps unnecessary travel for the patient. She is so thorough on her documentation and always available for educating and explaining. She listens to each and every person and treats each one with compassion and patience.
