I brag to the world that the VA facility “near Fort Snelling and the airport” has provided me with THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve ever experienced from any entity in my 84 years- but I also tell them that the very BEST HELP in my life is provided by my (not so ‘secret’ agent) my ‘arranger’- SANDRA WENSTROM. She won’t be there to help me and scores of others much longer, and I’m already worrying about her replacement once she retires. Sandra has steered me, advised me, and obviously been a critical link to my Primary care… but she’s also helped with additional connections to your fabulous prescriptions department with coordinating appointments. A week ago, the Memorial Blood Bank here in town almost prevented my giving blood because my hemoglobin number was so low. I called Sandra the next day, and she knit together inputs and directions from 4-5 other departments, directed me to your lab for a draw the next day… and as a direct result of her work, the advice gathered by her and a prescription for a strong iron pill, I was on my way to better health in ONE DAY. Sandra is beyond efficient, helpful, concerned, and caring. I strongly doubt I could get such speedy service outside your operation.
