Sandra was my nurse in Maternal Child 24 hours following the birth of my second child. Though all the staff were wonderful, Sandra was outstanding. She immediately made me feel special, and seemed to know what I would need and want even before I did! The care she gave towards my baby was so sweet and caring it was as though she was a part of my family. She was aware of my needs for pain medications, random snacks, reminded me to rest/sleep, and even somehow knew when I needed to use the restroom! She made me laugh and smile and listened to my worries/concerns/joys. She was also very punctual and would always return right when she said she would. She is a phenomenal representation of all that Kaiser stands for, and more than deserves the DAISY award.
