My father was admitted for a procedure on his liver. From the onset of his admission, Sandy went out of her way to ensure my father's comfort. My father is advanced in age and has a fear of medical procedures. Sandy contacted the surgeon that performed the procedure and made sure he stopped by my father's room to explain in detail what transpired. The bottom line is that due to Sandy's action, my father had his questions answered and more important, he has peace of mind.
* A little side note: Sandy retired and her last day of work was Sunday, April 24th. She came in to work for a celebration of her retirement on Monday, April 25th and was surprised with this award. April 25th is also her birthday!
