Sandy is one of the most amazing nurses we have ever experienced. When we first came in, we were kind of harsh and passive with her. Not once did she get upset or even irritated with us. We asked over a hundred questions and she answered every single one. She is such a genuine human being, I couldn't have asked for a better nurse. You can tell this is her passion and calling. Our son is being tested for autism and Sandy knew exactly how to treat and handle our son. Just overall an amazing nurse!

Our son was brought into Cook Children's because he fell into a neighbor's pool. It was a very scary experience. When we arrived at Cook Children's we were frightened and worried about our son's final outcome. During our stay, we were very nervous and concerned about our son's recovery and care. Our daytime nurse, Sandy, took the time to explain everything to us. She was so kind and caring to our family that it took all the fear away. We understood everything that was happening and why. Sandy's bedside manner was amazing, she brightened up our Autistic son's day helping with his recovery. She lifted our spirits and was a blessing to our family. We only wish more people could experience the kind of care that we received by her hands. Every one of our son's needs was met and our questions got answered. We were so, touched by her professionalism and attention to detail we had to take the time to write this. She is an asset to your company and a blessing to your patients and their families!
