Sandy called one evening asking me to check what a patient would like and not like food-wise so she could go shopping for him. This patient was discharging to a hotel so he could isolate himself for the remainder of his illness. The following day, Sandy brought in plenty of food and personal supplies for him for his stay at the hotel. Sandy took time out of her evening to make sure this patient had what he needed since he was unable to do so himself.
