Sandy Ortega, RN, BSN

Sandy Ortega has been a great help working on 3 West as both a direct care nurse and charge nurse. She provides exemplary care for her patients, is always patient and takes the time to stop and listen to the patients, answer any questions, and to make sure all the concerns are addressed. As charge nurse, she has been an incredible source of information, always available to help fellow staff nurses, and is able to lead through example. I have learned a lot from Sandy, either directly when she is providing help, insight, or education, as well as indirectly by watching her patient care work ethic and being in a leadership role. Without Sandy, 3 West wouldn't be able to provide the high level of patient care. She always supports the 3 West unit. Always helpful and RN's know we can always count on her for help. Charge nurse Sandy is very accommodating, making sure all staff is accommodated with their needs.
