Sandy Ragasa, RN

Sandy recently had a young patient, age 32. She went above and beyond for this young mother of 2. There were a lot of family dynamics going on in the family between the mother and stepmother. Sandy settled them down by explaining that they should focus on the patient and not themselves. The patient told Sandy, “You are my new best friend.” The patient was very comfortable during the last days of her life. Sandy’s calm demeanor and gracious personality made a big impact on this patient and her family.
