Patients and their families are always eager to recognize Sandy for her excellent nursing care. She is known to go the extra mile and spends quality time educating her patients, making them feel comfortable whether it be a new diagnosis or going home with new medications and equipment. One of the extraordinary things Sandy did was orchestrate a wedding for the daughter of a terminally ill patient. She used her own money to decorate the room and purchase flowers. It was a special moment for the patient and a time her family will never forget. Sandy is a true DAISY Nurse.
