The patient's mother sent in a complimentary letter, detailing her and her husband's experience when they brought in their daughter to get her blood drawn. Sandy probably doesn't realize the number of times the patient was on the verge of a meltdown that morning, but she came in with her caring and friendliness, and completely diffused the situation.
In the past, they've had difficulties and hard times when it comes to experiences like this one. "We've had so many mixed experiences with medical staff and their ability to be sensitive to her needs." Because of Sandy and her success in drawing the patient's blood, new doors have been opened for her family.
