Santos E Perez Flores, RN

This nurse was polite, efficient, and concerned with comfort and discretion when asking for a gown change. He was pain-free and careful during blood draw. He was very solicitous, checking in frequently. He was thorough in explaining tests and procedures. Santos was cheerful, smiling, well-groomed, and VERY professional. I arrived at the hospital in tears, pain, and frightened by a possible heart attack. I was alone and nervous. Santos immediately took control of my fears and calmly walked me through the procedure, explaining every step. When I indicated that I was deaf, he apologized and made clear efforts to speak concisely and directly to me. I apologize for not creating a narrative in story form, but I must reiterate what a professional Santos is and how fortunate Samaritan Hospital has been in employing Santos. This is the first time I have encountered Santos. However, under observation, Santos gets along well with fellow nurses; he was not arrogant or condescending to the lab staff when asked about my blood draw, and he clearly made conscious efforts to include me, the patient, in all dialogues between various staff visitors to my ER Room.
