You have an angel in Unit B. When Saonia arrived on my first night's stay, I instantly felt more at ease and safe. She has such a bright smile and aura of compassion. Being my first trip to a facility such as this one, I was terrified, deathly terrified. Saonia calmed me with distractions and comforted me by showing me the layout of the nurses and security stations for the night shift. She also explained that she or another nurse would look in on each room every 15 minutes throughout the night. She promised that she would take extra care to make sure that I was not harmed, and I fully believed her. She kept this promise and every other one that she made to me and I am forever grateful to her. Saonia clearly cares not just for the patients, but for the person and has the heart of an advocacy warrior.
