Sara Banzhaf, DNP, was honored with the DAISY Faculty Award from Creighton University College of Nursing. She was selected based on nominations from students, faculty, staff and alumni. Dr. Banzhaf's nominators wrote that she is an outstanding mentor who shows care, compassion, enthusiasm and has incredible patience. The student nominators said that she genuinely cares for students as a person and supports them. A faculty nominator wrote: "Dr. Banzhaf constantly strives to ensure students leave the College as a strong future generation of nurses."
