Sara Barry, RN

Sara was my nurse during my childbirth in 2019. I had a very scary delivery, which ended with my baby not breathing, staying longer than expected, and a recovery that took years for me to heal from. Sara's compassion, care, and calmness kept me grounded on one of the most terrifying days of my life. She stayed by my side, explained what was happening, and helped me feel safe when everything felt out of control. Even after delivery, when I faced a difficult recovery, she continued to care for me with so much kindness and patience. I never felt alone. Her knowledge and steady presence made all the difference that day. Because of her, I decided to become a nurse. Today, I work in Labor and Delivery, and I try every day to give my patients the same sense of safety and support that Sara gave me. She didn’t just help me through a traumatic birth — she changed my life. Thank you.
