Sara was enduring the loss of her 1st child at 16 weeks pregnant and had just returned to work that day. She was circulating an ENT case when the 6-year-old patient had two loose teeth that anesthesia had to pull during the case. Sara took the teeth and placed them in a special bag and then collected money from the department to put in the special tooth fairy bag from the CHOG OR. She collected $20 dollars to make this child's day special even though her own heart was heavy and she was so sad. Sara is an amazing nurse!
