Her silliness is welcome, yet underneath, she shines in her knowledge and skills. I am so honored to have had Sara take care of me.
Sara was the Best! I really struggled the first 2 nights I was there, and she made sure to do everything she could to help me. She checked on me when it was obvious she didn’t have the time due to other patients who were bad enough that I could hear them. She was thoughtful of my situation and did all she could to help me, even if that only meant taking time to talk to me, which helped me get through some very rough times. Anyone who gets Sara as their nurse is blessed from the start. I am truly thankful that she was the one taking care of me.

Sara is the best nurse. She listened to me, was very patient with me, and also made sure to keep my pain manageable to the best of her ability. Kept me company when she had time and kept a smile on my face. All in all, Sara is the bomb.com!!! If i had the option of choosing my nurse she would be one of my top choices. Sara made it a point to check on my and the day that she cared for me she got to know me. She always took the time, even when I didn’t call on her. And at the end of her shift, she would make sure to let me know she was going home. I am wholeheartedly satisfied with all she does. BOMB.COM

My Stay at SV has been a wonderful experience if you can call being in the hospital wonderful. The care and dedication of the staff on this unit go above and beyond incredible. My night shift nurse, Sara Cook, has been a treasure and friend. She is the consummate professional. She has the knowledge and skills to take excellent care of patients. Her quick, sassy whit is so special that she puts you at ease, does not get rattled, and makes you feel safe and cared for. Her silliness is welcome, yet underneath, she shines in her knowledge and skills. I am so honored to have had Sara take care of me. She has contributed to my healing progress and is a true ambassador for Stormont Vail HealthCare.

One of the reasons to be thankful this Thanksgiving is for nurses like Sara!! She is kind, caring and friendly, I have enjoyed our conversation and the relationship we have developed! I believe she was created to be a nurse and should receive all the awards that she can.
