Sara welcomed our family members to the ICU on Friday as we entered the unit to see my brother for the first time. Although she was not his assigned nurse, she projected warmth, professionalism, and the strength of her personality. The day she was his assigned nurse, she was very attentive to his needs, professional, personable, and outgoing in her demeanor, and also continued to make me feel welcomed and included as the patient's sister. Sara exemplifies the best in the nursing profession, experience, and care for her patients and their loved ones.
