I went in for a hysterectomy and ended up staying in the hospital for 4 days because of the difficulty of my surgery. All of my nurses were great and awesome, but I wanted to give a special thanks to my nurse I had at night. Nurse Sara helped me through 2 of the worst nights I have had in a long time. She stayed very calm, confident, patient and sympathetic. She sat with me while I was vomiting, played my soothing music on her own cell phone, helped me walk, and get comfortable. She helped make an unbearable situation more bearable and got me through. I later heard she was doing the same for another patient who had just as bad a night as I had. She is a benefit and credit to your hospital and made me feel as comfortable as possible.
