I had an amazing experience at LEP detox facility. I have been through detox before about 5 years ago at a different facility in WI. Arriving at LEP, I wasn't sure what to expect though. But from the moment I arrived and checked in, the whole staff made me feel as relaxed and as comfortable as possible for someone who is about to go through detox for alcohol. The entire staff was amazing. They were helpful, caring, knowledgeable, and most importantly to me, friendly. I was shocked that so many of them-the CNAs, RNs, etc. who cared about my after-care plans to make sure I was set up for success after leaving.
But I want to single out Sara. She was incredible. She took time to talk with me, made sure all my questions were answered and took the extra step of really getting to know me as a person, not just a patient. I could tell she really wanted me to succeed and offered me encouragement the whole time. As I mentioned, all the staff were great, but Sara went above and beyond any expectations, I had for a nurse while I was in detox. Her compassion, empathy, and care for her patients are top-notch. Thank you, Sara!
