Sara on PCU was one of the most skilled, caring, and knowledgeable nurses I have seen in the multiple hospital stays of my husband. She not only cared for the patient, she cared for the family, friends, and anyone in the room at the time. She worked very well with her coworkers, showing them courtesy and respect. She is truly dedicated to her profession and excels at giving wonderful nursing care. She also left a letter for me at the bedside when my husband's discharge was coming. I will cherish that letter always. She took time to talk to each family member and comfort them. I was really impressed with how she consoled my adult son. She shows true compassion for the entire family and the patient. She is an example for all nurses to follow.
