Sara contributes to the evolution of the nursing practice by precepting new nurses on the PACU floor. She is always very welcoming and friendly to any new staff member and always goes above and beyond in ensuring they receive proper orientation. She is also actively involved on the Pediatric committee as well as the representative for PACU for the skin team. Sara is very passionate about nursing and passionate about people. She has a joyful spirit that is evident to all around her and she always has a smile on her face. She never complains and always puts 110% into her work.

Sara develops strong relationships with her patients and strives to take the best care possible of them. She also is a solid team player and is always offering to help her co-workers. Sara is a strong advocate for her patients and isn't afraid to speak up when something seems out of place. She is concise and conscientious with her care. For this and so many more reasons, Sara is a wonderful nurse and very worthy of this award.
