Sara was the one who gave us the comfort of what was going on so well. We weren't still in the dark about what happened to him.
My fiancé was admitted because of bleeding in his brain. The doctor explained the site of the bleeding and what to expect if he doesn't get better. So I went on what the doctors said and several days after being here that's when Sara became his nurse and that's when we learned that he had a stroke.
She explained everything to us and anything that she did she would let us know what it is for and what might happen. Even when he had an EEG she told us how the doctor can read it as it's being done. Any questions the family had she would answer them, and they liked her as well. I feel she is one of the sweetest nurses he had. She was very passionate; beautiful bedside manner.
She was all that the words PETALS stands for and that's the kind of care she gave my fiancé, and he liked her as well. I am not saying that all the other nurses weren't nice but Sara was the one who gave us the comfort of what was going on so well. We weren't still in the dark about what happened to him. You don't find many nurses who will make sure their patient's well-being and understanding comes first before anything else. Sara is a true DAISY Nurse.
