They were so kind and informative, and obviously fast to act on the incident to get my grandfather the help that he needed.
Having a family member admitted to the hospital for new problems is always scary, but I feel that sometimes working at the hospital where they are a patient can make it even scarier. While working in the ER, I heard a rapid response called overhead on my grandfather, and as a nurse, I knew this meant something was wrong. Sara and Gary were so quick to keep me informed about his condition and the events that led up to the rapid response being called. They explained things to me in a way that anyone could understand and didn't just assume that I knew everything going on. They were so kind and informative, and obviously fast to act on the incident to get my grandfather the help that he needed. Even though I was working, I checked in on him often throughout this night and the nights that followed, and they were both extremely understanding and made sure to keep me informed. In all of the hospital visits my grandfather has had, this is the best nursing team that he's ever had, and I couldn't have imagined anyone better to care for him. My family and I are so thankful for Sarah and Gary and all of the care they have provided.
