A patient was expected to pass during the night, but had no family with her. Sara Schneller sat one-on-one with the patient until she took her last breath. Ashley covered Sara's other patients as charge nurse.
The emotion in their faces showed that they really cared for the patient and I know they made a difference in the last days of her life. I also witnessed support between the staff after the patient expired. This is a thank you for the good care that you provide on a daily basis and I wish there were more compassionate nurses like you all. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
