I came into this Acute Care Unit cold, wet, tired, hungry, sad, lonely, and in major pain from frostbite on my toes, not knowing if I were to lose my toes or not. Being so upset and in major pain, I met this too wonderful of a person or RN by the name of Sara Sickels. There was nothing this RN would not do for me. She by far did more than bend over backwards for me, from my pain meds, to food, to clean bedding, gowns, snacks or whatever would help my life be just a little bit more pleasant. Just such a wonderful RN/person in general. Sara also took very great care of my frostbite, very careful not to hurt me, and wrapped my feet with much care and love. Sara's personality was also very pleasant and with a great sense of humor. She just made my life in the hospital not such a bad experience, thank God! Sara's performance, treatment, services and individualized care was by far above the average. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'll give her a more than deserved 99.9 all day long. Thank you so much, Sara.
