Sara graduated from Walden University BSN program and is now in our Tempo program working on her MSN. I met her at Sigma Theta Tau, Phi Nu meetings, which is the Walden University Nursing honor society. Sara has dedicated herself to Walden University, Sigma Theta Tau, Phi Nu, and nursing. She is always willing to go the extra mile in volunteering and has positively affected social change and health outcomes.

For example she has represented Walden University at several Sigma national conventions, she presents healthy habits monthly to a group of women recently released from prison, and from her Facebook page I can see that stays active in her local community. She is also a team player and is always willing to help out her colleagues. Sara is an outstanding student with a strong academic record. She has consistently earned top grades in her nursing courses, and she has demonstrated a deep understanding of the material.

She is also an excellent writer and communicator and has a keen ability to think critically and solve problems. In addition to her academic achievements, Sara is also a highly motivated and compassionate individual. She is passionate about helping others and is always willing to just sit and listen or offer her own time to help in difficult situations. For example, a colleague of mine from Walden University recently passed away after a difficult journey of illness; Sara was constant in providing caring communication and visited her several times which meant arranging care for her children and driving across several states to be present with her.
