Nurse Sara was absolutely amazing with us. My little girl just turned 3 months old and I still talk about our L&D nurse. From the moment we were given our room and introduced, Sara was kind, considerate, and comforting. She made us feel like we had known her for years. With all the COVID Restrictions still in place back in March, having Sara there was like having a close friend with us. Sara had to turn over care to the following shift before my baby was born, but almost called her husband to tell him she was staying late because she wanted to deliver our baby. She stayed and talked to us about how everything was going to go, and even gave us some amazing resources for newborn sleep. I will always remember her and feel that she needs recognition for what she does because she does it with natural compassion that is contagious.
