Sarah Axelrad, RN

My brother was in the ICU for almost three weeks. He was on a ventilator and had many ups and downs. We received a call from Sarah Axelrad that he was declining very quickly. When we got to the hospital, Sarah greeted us warmly and I could instantly feel her genuine sorrow for our family. She provided the utmost compassionate care for not only my brother, but our family as well. She was incredibly patient and gave us the time and space that we needed. Sarah answered our questions thoroughly and warmly. As my brother passed, Sarah’s compassion and sincerity brought peace to our family. Knowing that she was there with my brother and would make sure he was treated with dignity and respect is more than we could have ever asked for. Sarah was truly exceptional and so incredibly compassionate. Sarah is the epitome of an extraordinary nurse and deserves to be recognized every single day. Thank you Sarah, my family and I are extremely grateful for you.
