Sarah just might now be an honorary member of our family. In one of our darker hours, she provided compassion and solace to all my family members, including my beloved grandmother. She continued to demonstrate extraordinary kindness by attending the visitation service of our grandmother, which provided great comfort to my dad and grandfather.

My grandmother was admitted to the ICU at St. Joseph a couple weeks ago. I never actually got to meet Sarah, but all my family members that were with my grandmother during Sarah's night shift couldn't say enough good things. According to my family, when Sarah came on for her shift she noticed my grandmother was having additional issues not previously seen. She immediately took the necessary action and provided the care needed. My grandfather had some difficult decisions to make and Sarah never pressured him one way or another. She provided the facts and followed his wishes. My grandmother was nearing the end of her life and Sarah not only provided her extraordinary care but she also showed great compassion to my family as we prepared to say good-bye. She even came to show her respect at my grandmother's visitation.
