I was working with Sarah at Front Sort on 4/6/2025. Sarah had a family member come in looking for her son who was not at our location. Mom was super worried and was unsure where to look for her son as she was originally told he was brought to Eskenazi's Emergency Department. Sarah took the time to talk with the mom and then call all area hospitals and help track down where he was taken and being treated.

Even though we were busy and she was taking care of checking in and on multiple patients at the same time she took the time to show empathy and care for mom’s situation. She called hospitals in between taking care of patients to call and get info for the mother. Sarah went above and beyond to help this worried, panicked mom find her missing son.

Sarah took the time and did locate him at another hospital and was able to get the information she needed to get to her son. I know a lot of the time we don't think about the family involved as they are taking care of the patient but this was truly a huge relief for this mother. I know it put her mind at ease not only where he was but that he was safe and going to be ok!
