March 2026 Honoree
Sarah Brown 2026, RN
Sarah was my nurse for a great deal of my stay at St. Joe’s swing bed and hospital. I had a busted ankle, sore muscles, and other arthritic pain. She would go the extra mile when I wasn’t sure which medicines I needed to treat my health problems.
Many times she would ask me if I needed something for pain, water, or anything that would make me more comfortable. She is a cheerful, caring, helpful nurse who is pleasant and caring. She often knew what questions to ask me so we could figure out just what I needed when I needed it.
She’s a happy person who enjoys caring for her patients. She’s relatable and is always cheerful and smiling during hard times as well as easy times. We both enjoy Hallmark, so these conversations would distract me from the pain I was in. She’s a great problem solver and an asset to St Joseph Memorial Hospital.

Thank you, Sarah, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
