Sarah is an exceptional nurse! She is always a complete joy to be seen and assessed by. She is very knowledgeable about her job, medical knowledge and overall patient relations and skills. She is always a very professional, courteous and positive individual who also ensures all of her patients are/feel comfortable and that they are being cared for to the utmost of her ability. Her positive and cheerful attitude and demeanor are, for lack of a better word, completely "contagious"! Every visit with her is always great, informative, and leaves you with the complete sense that you have received the best care and attention possible. The nursing profession as well as the Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, VA should be proud and grateful that they have someone like Sarah representing them and their profession.
One example is she had to flush out my ear canal. She made me feel as comfortable as she could and explained the entire process to me as we went forward with the procedure. She helped me to be personally involved with the procedure and ultimately completed it, removing the issue that the procedure was for. I left feeling better and having receive the best care available.
