Sarah Byrd took excellent care of me while I was in MICU. She has excellent communication skills and she continuously explained everything that was going on with me. She is truly a compassionate nurse. She possesses emotional stability during the most stressful and life-threatening situations. She has empathy for other's pain and suffering. She provides comfort in so many ways. She even massaged my hands and feet with lotion and played my favorite songs on her phone. We really bonded with Sarah. I was asleep when her shift was over so she left me a special note of encouragement taped to my bed. She is the definition of an excellent nurse.
