Sarah C Foster, RN

Recently, I was completely alone in OB with an overnight induction patient when I got a call about EMS bringing in another laboring patient. It just so happened to be during an epidural procedure for my other patient. I quickly found out that the EMS patient was going to deliver very quickly, and Sarah was called to help cover with OB. While OB is completely out of her element and comfort zone. Sarah was very quick to jump in to help however they could. She helped bring in the necessary equipment needed, calmed down, and coached my patient to breathe. Sarah felt she hadn't done much to help, but I couldn't have done it without her. I was very thankful to have her extra set of hands during that time.
