Sarah Catherine is an Extraordinary Nurse. She’s absolutely the best! I’ve been her patient five times over the last six years and each experience has been wonderful. 

The first time I met Sarah Catherine, I was a nervous and anxious first-time mother. She was so sweet and so helpful and so patient with me that she made a scary situation (to me) into an enjoyable one. Sarah Catherine has helped me labor and deliver all five of my children. Each time, her unique gift of nursing has played a significant role in our delivery. In fact, at one point, we had moved away, and once we became pregnant, I knew I couldn’t have a baby anywhere but Brookwood with anyone but Sarah Catherine and our doctor. 

In 2020, during the height of the pandemic, she not only helped us navigate delivering during Covid but she saved my baby’s life. I’m typically a low-intervention patient, but Sarah Catherine’s intuition caught a cord prolapse quickly, and her knowledge and confidence are what kept us all safe. 7 minutes later we had a baby! I’ve had all kinds of births and just last week she helped me labor and deliver my last baby, a scheduled c section.  I had lots of fear around the surgery, but her kind, gentle, calming, and reassuring demeanor once again made it an enjoyable experience.

Sarah Catherine is the epitome of a DAISY Nurse - she has exceptional clinical skills and knowledge paired with compassion and kindness.
