Sarah Christensen holds the virtues I am sure the Franciscan Sisters would have been proud of. She is calm, precise, patient, gentle, proficient and has grown into a selfless leader. I have seen how truly empathetic and compassionate she is to her patients by the tears she has shed and the resolve she has to ensure that she provides the best nursing care possible. She is now the go-to nurse for precepting new nurses and nursing students. She accepted the challenge of being charge nurse relief and is secretary of our shared governance, yet she remains ever humble. She is one of the quietest nurses on 4th floor yet her accomplishments and contributions to St. Anthony should not go unnoticed.
