Sarah was not only an exceptional nurse, but my wife's biggest cheerleader. She has the ability to make you feel everything would be okay. Sarah was very comforting in a loving way and was complimentary and encouraging in such a positive manner. She told me she felt Sarah was the angel God had sent to help her through her illness. Sarah came in on a day she wasn't scheduled to work to visit us and always visited her even when assigned to other patients. Sarah became our friend, and my wife's confidant. Sarah has even followed up with me to check on my well-being at home. Sarah is that rare individual who truly shows empathy, warmth and love. She was indeed a blessing to us. My wife was in Community North for 5 weeks. When it was determined that hospice was needed, she moved from ICU to the 3rd Floor because of her love for the nursing team, especially Sarah, that had become her extended family.
