She does all she can to help every co-worker, and does her educator duties, all while trying to find ways to improve the quality of life for the nurses on the floor with new encouragement boards and brighter education boards.
Sarah is more than an educator…she is a leader, a resource, a helping hand, a kind word, an encouragement, a push for patient care, and an example of the nurse everyone should have caring for them. Sarah never slows down. She is everything to everyone here at Highsmith. If you need help turning, she will grab a gown and put the paperwork down, and step right in to assist. Having pump troubles? No worries, Sarah will get you another one, just stay right there. She will then either fix it or make sure it is taken to the proper person for replacement or repair.
She does all she can to help every co-worker, and does her educator duties, all while trying to find ways to improve the quality of life for the nurses on the floor with new encouragement boards and brighter education boards. And coming soon, is a stress reduction coloring board for the rare moments during our breaks and lunch where you can have a quiet moment to reflect and breathe.
To watch her work is like watching an engine, all parts going at once in a fluid movement…keeping a steady consistent flow to the other systems and allowing the driver a smooth ride. We cannot express enough gratitude for all she does for staff and patients. Without a doubt, a Hero works here!
