I always felt like things were going to be okay, even if they didn’t look okay in the moment, because I had someone like Sarah with me.
Sarah was the biggest blessing to our family! She is so knowledgeable and incredible at her job. We came into the hospital to deliver our first baby and our labor was much more complicated than expected. I had a lot of painful back labor and Sarah spent the entire morning in our room helping me try to reposition the baby by getting into different positions and rubbing my back while I was having painful contractions. She made the biggest difference for me. My labor wasn’t advancing as fast as it should have. She held my hand and gave me so much peace when it was time to start Pitocin. I had a scary reaction to an epidural, and she acted so fast to keep the baby and me safe. And when it was shift change, she made sure the most experienced/kindest nurse would be her replacement. She was such an angel of mercy for me and my baby. I always felt like things were going to be okay, even if they didn’t look okay in the moment, because I had someone like Sarah with me. She made the biggest difference. We couldn’t love her more.
