Sarah was such an incredible blessing to our family. Repeatedly, she went above and beyond her nurse duties to support us and my grandfather at the end of his life. We are so grateful for her acceptance and allowance of a room full of people and for making us as comfortable as possible. In addition to taking amazing, compassionate care of my grandpa in his last hours, Sarah also held so much space for my grandmother to express herself. She took so much time with both of them; it was remarkable to watch. Sarah is kind and generous, goes above and beyond what is asked of her, and truly embodies the gifts of tenderness, empathy, grace, and kindness. Because of her diligence and watchful eye, we were able to be with my grandpa as he took his last breaths and hold his hand as he passed on. We are forever grateful for her generosity and care for us, as she bought us a night at a local hotel so that we could avoid the 2-hour round trip to the hospital to be with my grandfather should something happen. We have all been touched by Sarah’s servant’s heart. Thank you so very much, Sarah. Many blessings to you today and always.

Sarah, what a beautiful name for such an outstanding young woman. Her compassion, love, and understanding were truly displayed not only in her skills but in her care for the human need. Her care for our family was expressed in her words and action and her work needs to be acknowledged. My words are not enough to let her know how much she helped us in our deepest hours of need at the end of my husband’s life. Sarah will be held in my heart forever.
