Sarah Dudley, BSN, RNC

My wife and I never planned on having our child end up in the NICU, nor does any parent. However, we did plan by choosing the right OB/GYN and choosing to deliver at Covenant Children’s with their well-known NICU staff. So even though we never planned on having our daughter end up in the NICU, we were prepared. We rather expected that we would have great clinical care. We did not however expect the way the nurses delivered that care. Sarah Dudley had such an immediate impact on my wife and me, explaining things to us in the OR, what they were doing, why they were doing everything, and much more. I believe in what God calls us to do in our life to expand his kingdom, and Sarah without a doubt was called into nursing, especially into the realm of NICU. I believe that Sarah represented the same kindness and compassion that Patrick Barnes and his family received while he was in the hospital. Sarah showed great compassion, dignity, justice, excellence, and integrity to our family. I believe that Sarah is a true DAISY Nurse.
