I would like to thank the staff and share my story of why I believe they are so special: Sarah Angold-Arnold and Salina Mendoza should both get recognition for their extraordinary dedication, compassion, and life-saving care. During a critical moment, Sarah and Salina played a pivotal role in ensuring a patient's survival. Their quick thinking and unwavering commitment made all the difference in this patient's life.

When the battery of his life-saving device triggered end of life, the need for him to get a generator change was extremely important, as he is device-dependent. If the battery runs out, he would most likely not survive. Being from a very small town and having absolutely zero resources regarding money or transportation to get to the city for his much-needed procedure, these nurses went to great lengths to find him a ride. After hours of searching and asking, they were able to find a pastor from his county to bring him to the Plaza for his generator change. He arrived and should now have a happy outcome and get to enjoy life with his wife longer. Beyond their exceptional clinical skills, Sarah and Salina embody the true spirit of nursing, showing empathy, kindness, and advocacy for their patients. Their work brought hope, turning what could have been a tragedy into a story of resilience and recovery. Their extraordinary care left an unforgettable impact.
